Rocky and Chase are looking for their forever homes. They’re approximately 11 months old, neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and on prevention. They are kid and dog friendly but haven’t been cat tested. They were dumped on the side of the road and remained there for days until their foster picked them up and took them home. They are both so sweet. They are believed to be cattledog/heeler mixes. Rocky is much larger than Chase. They have no manners because they jump on you but Rocky will begin board and train with Kendra Thrive Animal Academy next week. Rocky and Chase will be at PetSmart Gastonia this Saturday from 9:30-1:30.

Our next Adoption Event is THIS SATURDAY, 5/16, at PetSmart Gastonia from 9:30-1:30.
None of our dogs leave same day but it is an opportunity to meet the dogs and complete an adoption application. I am posting all of the dogs that we are bringing on Saturday but this is not all of the dogs we have available for adoption. Ages range from 7 weeks to 5.5 years old. You can view all of our adoptable dogs on a pinned post at the top of our page.
Our Dessert Litter puppies will be at the event but they will not be handled since they are so young. This will be the only meet and greet available for them before they’re ready for adoption on June 4.
*Feebee and Katie are a bonded pair and will only be adopted together, not individually.
We still need volunteers to help set up Friday night at 7:00 pm and also at the event on Saturday. Message me if you’re able to help.

Daffodil update 5/12:
She is doing amazing. She is acting totally back to normal just in time to have surgery again on Friday! I was worried yesterday as we had to remover her fentanyl patch but she doesn’t seem to be in any pain at all. She is so affectionate and wants to be with Mama Amy!

BEFORE and AFTER! Thanks Sebrina and Alyssa for the spa day!

Please welcome Schmitty to the Angels Crew. He was surrendered yesterday and already has a grooming appointment this afternoon at Happy Tails Grooming. He is believed to be around 5 years old and will have a neuter appointment as soon as I can get him scheduled. He was dewormed and vaccinated this morning. We believe he is a schnauzer mix but some of the pictures I submit for breed info shows Havanese/Lhasa Apso but to me he has a schnauzer face. Who knows other than he is so stinkin adorable and sweet. His markings/coloring is so handsome with his black feet and ears. He weighs 8 pounds but he’s skin and bones so don’t let the fluff fool you! He will be at our adoption event this Saturday 5/16 at PetSmart Gastonia from 9:30-1:30. I would like to give a special thanks to a crew at Duke Energy (Gary W Howard ‘s crew) for donating in memory of a lady on his team that passed away. Her name was Stephanie McClosky. She was in her early 40s and had a massive stroke. Her family and husband, Michael McClosky requested money go to animal charities. We are honored to receive the donation in her memory! Our condolences go out to her family! 🙏🏻❤️

Happy Adoption Day 5/11/26 adorable Magnolia! You are absolutely the best baby girl! You have the sweetest demeanor and love absolutely everyone. Your new mommy drove all the way from Willow Spring, NC just to welcome you into their family. Sweet Nora. She is dreaming of laying by the lake or on the sandy beach with her forever family! For those that don’t know her story she and Butterscotch (a 13 year old Shih Tzu) were set outside their evicted home by law enforcement and were there for 6 days. They were both abandoned there but thankfully a neighbor fed and watered them. Butterscotch has since been adopted but Nora is still here with me. She needs a foster or adopter. She deserves better than my garage but that’s the only space I have available! Her owner, who I have since tracked down and spoken with says she is 6-7 years old. We’ve had her vaccinated and she has a spay appointment this Wednesday. She loves affection and gives kisses freely. She snarls at other dogs at initial meet but has done fine with ones we have introduced her to after a slow introduction. She’s just unsure of what is going on in her life right now because it’s been turned upside down. Please EMAIL [email protected] if you’re interested in fostering or adopting this precious gal. (Her old name was Precious but we feel like she needs a fresh start!)

Daffodil and Eleanor Pupdate! They are both doing great! Daffodil is up and playing, eating, drinking, and she finally pooped today for the first time since picking her up from CARE!🙌 Her second heart surgery will be this Friday at CARE. Please pray and if you’d still like to donate, we are $3700 short towards the $7000.

We don’t have one application for our little in house magician Merlin! He is the sweetest and most handsome boy that is just a happy go lucky pup! He gives lots of kisses, loves to cuddle, and loves dogs of all sizes. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and already on prevention. He is estimated around a year old or younger and weighs 14 pounds. He is working on potty training and he can climb over all of our puppy gates in the house separating the rooms which is how he earned his name! What else would I get for an early Mother’s Day gift other than a litter of adorable puppies! Please welcome The Dessert Litter. There are 2 females and 3 males… Females: Figgy, Puddin’, Males: Dumplin’, Crumble, and Cobbler. Mama is a Chorkie (Chihuahua/Yorkie mix) and daddy is a basset hound. Their DOB is March 25, 2026 so they are a little over 6 weeks old. They all weigh 2 pounds. All of the babies were weighed, had a bath, got their bellies full, and are napping. They will not be ready for their forever homes for 2 more weeks but we will begin accepting applications for them on Monday. They will be at our adoption event next Saturday, 5/16 at PetSmart Gastonia from 9:30-1:30. All inquiries should be made VIA EMAIL ONLY to [email protected] on MONDAY. Jenn and I need a much needed day off for Mother’s Day! We will not be answering messages on Facebook Messenger.
