Look at this doll! Cheerio is approximately 8 months old and is Mama Kix pup from her last litter. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She is very affectionate and loves to sit in your lap. Cheerio has lots of puppy energy and is very playful and she only weighs 6.5 pounds. She has not been treated well until her neighbor took them in to try to get them help. That’s when we took Mama Kix before she gave birth, and now Cheerio and Pops. A special thanks to Teresa Christopher for fostering Cheerio. She will be at our PetSmart Gastonia adoption event this Saturday from 9:30-1:30.

Happy Adoption Day 8/13/26 sweet Papaya! You are the last of the Tootie Fruity litter to be adopted. This journey with our rescue started with you and your 4 siblings dumped on the side of a rural road in a blue tote covered in fleas…and look at you now! You are such a doll and so full of puppy energy and love! One night without Peaches about stressed you to the max but tonight you will be cuddled in bed with your new mommy and daddy in Asheville, NC. They are the kindest humans and your new mommy came in the door crying because she couldn’t wait to meet you! To say that you will be spoiled is not strong enough of a word sweet girl! You just hung the moon for them! Mama Amy will miss you but I’m so happy for you!🐾🐾💕

We need your help desperately! We spayed and neutered Pops and Cheerio yesterday. Pops is dad to the puppies that were born on Sunday (Cereal Crew). We were not taking them on but just spay and neutering because we couldn’t find Foster’s for them. Well, we did heartworm tests and Pops is heartworm positive. We can’t just turn them away and not treat him otherwise he will die an agonizing death! He can’t continue living outdoors along with Cheerio. He weighs 10 pounds and Cheerio weighs 6.5 pounds. Pops has to be monitored now during treatment so we took them in this morning. We have a foster for him through next Wednesday but he needs a foster or adopter after next Wednesday. Heartworm treatment will be covered with adoption. He will have to be low key, leash walked, no running or getting his heart rate up during treatment. We started HeartGard and Doxycycline and in 30 days he will go in for an injection. Thirty days from that he will go back and receive 2 more injections. This is considered the fast kill treatment. The estimate is around $1200. We have already spent over $3700 in vet bills alone in July and August. In addition to the $1500 in food. We can’t do this without you! We desperately need monetary donations quickly. Any amount helps! All donations are tax deductible.

Poor Papaya is not happy because she’s all alone since Peaches was adopted this evening. Hopefully she will be in her forever home soon. It breaks my heart to hear her cry.

Happy Adoption Day 8/12/26 precious Peaches! You are the sweetest girl and was always the largest in your litter. Mama Amy is going to miss all of your kisses every day. Now we have to find Papaya her forever home since she’s the last one left in your litter. She’s going to miss her big sissy! I am so glad you have a little human to grow up with. He starts kindergarten tomorrow so I’m not sure he’s going to want to leave you to go to school! I love you big sweet girl and can’t wait for updates from Mt. Holly, NC.🐾🐾❤️

We have renamed Mama Wendy, EVERLY because she is ever so sweet! 🐾🐾💕
We sprung Mama from the shelter. I have such a heart for mamas who usually get left behind. She is an absolute doll and believed to be a Schnoodle! Her babies had a waiting list for adopters so hopefully they go to great homes. We do not have the babies! A huge shoutout to Leah Harrison for transporting this mama to me. Stay tuned for her new name!

Happy Adoption Day 8/10/26 charming Chase! You are the sweetest little guy and just crave affection! You were dumped on the side of the road along with your brother Rocky where you stayed and waited in the same spot for four days back in March! This breaks my heart to think how anyone could do that to you two! But that life is gone forever and you have a brand new life with your new mommy and daddy in Dallas, NC. They are already so in love with you and can’t wait to spoil you. A huge shoutout to Kendra at Thrive Animal Academy for fostering and training you so that you’re ready for your forever home.
