🚨Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza 🚨

Have you heard of this virus in the news, are you unsure what this means for you and your pets?

HPAI is currently affecting a large portion of our poultry and dairy cattle, with many reports in wildlife around the country. Reports have been made with confirmed cases here in Camden County.

Human risk of infection is currently low, but it has been reported in domestic species such as dogs and cats, especially cats!

Appointment and wait times will be longer as we wait for staff to safely arrive to work, please continue to be patient!

Attention Kings Bay Family!

The base has moved to mission essential only beginning at close of business today (1600). The clinic will be closed on WEDNESDAY JANUARY 22nd, 2025 until further direction has been received from the installation.

All appointments for Wednesday have been rescheduled, thank you for your flexibility. At this time we are still operating as normal on Friday. If conditions change, you will receive a call.

Good morning!

Our veterinarian Dr. Lambkin will be going TDY for 2 weeks - the clinic will be temporarily closed from 15 November - 1 December.

Calling hours will be available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays each week for prescription refills and appointment scheduling. We will ensure our phone message relays this information.

We will be back full swing early December.

For other military vet services, contact NAS Jacksonville. For emergencies, contact your trusted veterinary teams out in town or Robinson 24h Vet Hospital!

🌀 Be sure to include your pets in your disaster planning! They're your responsibility and need your help to ensure their wellbeing.

🌀 Have at least 1 weeks worth of vital medication, food, and supplies to keep you and your pet comfortable.

🌀 Update your pets microchip information and be sure their collar fits and isn't too loose. In a pinch.
