The Altered Dog used Square for our scheduling system a few years ago. We found a more efficient platform (Groomore) about then, and switched. We have not used Square in about two years for scheduling.
If you get a text from Square saying you have an appointment, or I cancelled an appointment, disregard. After two years of inactivity, it has resurfaced old recurring appointments on its own accord, and is sending out appointment reminder texts. Plenty of you are on a different schedule, have left town, or are otherwise confused on the text.
The only contact you should get from Square in relevance to The Altered Dog is receipt/card payment. If its scheduling, its an error that I have now fixed. If you recieve a text from *Groomore* (the 8072 number) that is accurate, and the one we have been using for two years.
It was only brought to my attention because a few people in a short period of time responded with confusion. It shouldn't happen again, but may have happened in the past with me being unaware. A while ago, there was a lot of people who the schedule kept messing up for. We never figured out why. I suspect this may have been it. I apologise, and it should be fixed now.
