Love on a Leash Kingman visited Kingdom Academy today. The dogs were dressed as a pumpkin a ballerina, and a tiger. The kids were very excited to greet the dogs and admire how cute the dogs were .

Today Kingman Love on a Leash visited The Lingenfelter Center, it was
only Bailee and Prince Barkley today but the dogs still managed to bring big smiles to the residents faces .

Sometimes support looks like four paws.

School can be a noisy place for a young mind. Chairs scrape across floors. Bells interrupt thoughts. Hallways swell with voices, footsteps, expectations, friendships, worries, and the pressure of trying to get everything right. Then there are moments like this.

A child sits down with a book and leans against the warm side of a therapy dog. Nothing needs to be explained. There is no test to pass and no answer to get right. For a few minutes, there is simply a steady heartbeat beneath golden fur, a quiet page waiting to be turned, and a dog content to stay exactly where he is.

That is something we sometimes misunderstand about therapy dog work. The dog does not have to perform a trick or create a dramatic moment to be useful. Sometimes his greatest contribution is simply being a calm, accepting presence while a child catches his breath.

A therapy dog cannot solve the problems waiting outside that classroom door. But he may help a child feel a little more settled before walking through it.

And on some days, that small moment of peace can mean a great deal.

Kingman Love on a Leash visited the Lingenfelter Memory care facility today . I wish I could show the smiles that the dogs bring to the faces of the residents . We can’t always understand them but the smiles speak louder than words !

Today Love on a Leash Kingman visited Cedar Hills school. The children were all excited to see the dogs and many of them remembered Bailee from 2 yrs ago . Others were very excited to meet Prince Barkley and our beautiful Ruthie . Even the teacher loved reading to the dogs . Another successful Therapy Day in the books .

Today was the first visit back with the school’s . The dogs were so excited to see all the children and staff. No judgment reading . Bringing joy and confidence to children one child at a time .
