🌈🐾 A Very Special Tribute to My Best Friend, Shyla 🐾🌈
Some dogs come into our lives as pets… but Shyla was so much more than that. She was my best friend, my faithful companion, and a part of my heart for over 14 beautiful years. 💜
On August 6th, we had to say goodbye to our beautiful girl. What makes that day even more meaningful is that Shyla passed away on the birthday of Winston, our gorgeous Boxer who passed several years ago. Winston wasn't just another dog in our family—he was Shyla's best friend. ❤️
I'd like to think there was a reason she chose that day. Maybe somewhere over the Rainbow Bridge, Winston was waiting for his girl. 🌈🐾 I can just picture those two together again, like no time had passed at all.
Shyla had such a special place in our family and in Emston Maine C***s. She took her job with the C**nies VERY seriously! 😆 She loved to herd them around and keep everyone in line—and heaven help the C**nie who thought they were going to sneak over and steal one of Shyla's snacks! 😂🐶🐱
She watched babies grow, kept an eye on everyone, and was simply part of the everyday heartbeat of our home.
Fourteen years gives you thousands of memories, routines you don't even realize have become part of you, and a kind of companionship that is impossible to put completely into words.
Our home will never feel quite the same without her.
I miss you more than words can say, my beautiful Shyla. 💔 Thank you for over 14 years of unconditional love, loyalty, laughter, and memories.
Give Winston a big kiss for us. ❤️ I know your best friend was waiting for you.
Until we meet again, sweet girl. 🌈🪽🐾

🚗💨 One Final Farewell to Our Cars Litter! 💨🚗
And just like that… our sweet Cars Litter has officially left the nest. 🥹❤️
Every one of these precious Maine C**n babies is now home and in the loving arms of their families, beginning their own wonderful adventures. 🏡🐾
Watching them grow from tiny babies into the big, beautiful, rambunctious personalities they are today has been such a joy. Saying goodbye is always bittersweet, but knowing how loved and cherished they are makes our hearts so happy. ❤️

❤️ What a Week It Has Been… ❤️
This past week has truly been one of the craziest and most emotional weeks for us. There have been heartbreaking goodbyes, some scary moments, but also so many blessings to be thankful for. 🙏
🌈 First, the very sad news…
I had to say goodbye to my beautiful 14-year-old Sheltie, Shyla. 💔 She wasn't just my dog—she was my best friend and faithful companion who had been by my side for so many years. Losing her has left such a huge hole in my heart, and I miss her more than words can say. 🐾🌈 Until we meet again, sweet girl. ❤️
🐾 Then came another scary moment…
Our new momma Gracie needed an emergency C-section to safely deliver her babies. Thankfully, I am so happy to say that Gracie and all SEVEN of her beautiful babies are doing fantastic! 🥹❤️🐾 What an incredible blessing!
🚗 And our Cars Litter…
In the middle of everything, we also finished uniting our Cars Litter with their wonderful forever families! 🏡❤️ Seeing our babies leave is always bittersweet, but knowing how loved and excitedly awaited they are makes it so special.
What. A. Week. 🥹
Through the tears, worry, sleepless nights, goodbyes and new beginnings, we are reminded just how precious life is.
Above all, we are so thankful for the Lord and the many blessings He continues to give us. 🙏❤️ Even during the difficult days, there is still so much to be grateful for.
Here's to a calmer week ahead… and to holding our loved ones—both two-legged and four-legged—a little closer. ❤️🐾

🐾✨ The Originals Litter — 4 Weeks Old! ✨🐾
Our sweet little Originals babies are growing up WAY too fast! 🥹💗 They are becoming super sweet, playful, and just a little rambunctious as those big Maine C**n personalities start coming out! 😹🐾
We’ve officially started the weaning process… although they have made it VERY clear that they are not impressed with this whole “real food” idea yet! 😂🍼➡️🥣 We’ll keep working on it!
And the best news… every single baby is now RESERVED and has a wonderful family waiting to love and spoil them! 🏡💕 We couldn’t be happier for Klaus, Elijah, Haley, Rebekah & Freya!
The next few weeks are going to be so much fun! 💕🐾

🧸❤️ Our Toy Story Litter Is Getting Ready for Their Next Big Adventure ❤️🧸

This goodbye is going to be an especially emotional one for us. Our precious Toy Story Litter will soon be leaving to begin their lives with their wonderful forever families. 🏡🐾
These babies hold an incredibly special place in our hearts. They were our beautiful Queen Starla’s babies, and after losing their sweet momma when they were still so young, we stepped in and bottle-fed them, loved them, nurtured them, and watched over them every step of the way. ❤️‍🩹
The bond we have with this litter is hard to put into words. It's not simply because of all the extra care they needed—it's because they are one of the last beautiful pieces of Starla that we get to hold onto. Watching them grow into the happy, healthy, affectionate little Maine C***s they are today has meant more to us than we could ever explain.
Soon, Woody, Buzz and Rex will begin their next chapters with their families, where we know they will be deeply loved and spoiled. And our sweet Jessie will be staying right here with us at Emston Maine C***s. ❤️ Jessie will always be an extra-special reminder of her beautiful momma Starla and the incredible little family she left behind.
We're preparing their things, soaking up every cuddle and purr, and trying not to think too much about how quiet it's going to feel when they leave. 🥹

Our precious Toy Story Litter is officially 9 weeks old, and these babies are everything you could ever hope for in a Maine C**n! ❤️ They are constantly purring, soaking up all the cuddles they can get, and their sweet, affectionate personalities are shining brighter every day.
They absolutely rocked their photo shoot... well, everyone except Woody! 🤠😂 Woody apparently had much more important kitten business to attend to and wasn't too interested in posing for the camera. We sure love his silly personality!
These gorgeous babies continue to amaze us with their beauty, confidence, and loving temperaments. We couldn't be more proud of this incredible litter! 😻 **nKittens
