The hardest part of what we do is saying goodbye to dogs we’ve had the privilege of knowing and loving for years. Saying goodbye to Binder feels especially hard.

Binder was the last puppy born in a litter of nine, arriving just after midnight and claiming a birthday all his own. Somehow, that always felt fitting, because from the very beginning, there was something undeniably special about him.

His time with us was far too short, but the love he gave and the love he received will stay with us forever. His love of the outdoors, tug toys, and treats was only matched by the love he had for his people.

Binder wasn’t just a daycare dog—he was family. His gentle soul, goofy personality, and endless affection left a mark on every member of our team, especially Connor. One of his favorite games was stealing Connor’s gloves or hat and making him chase after him. It never failed to make us smile.

Our hearts are with Kate, Tim, their children, and everyone who loved this remarkable boy. Thank you for trusting us with such a special part of your family. It was truly our privilege to know Binder, to love him, and to be part of his life.

Rest easy, sweet boy. You were simply the best. 💙🐾
