Welcome, Dr. Volpe! We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Volpe to our Heart + Paw King of Prussia team! She is excited to meet you and your pets and is accepting new clients. Get to know her by reading her bio below:

Dr. Volpe grew up in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst before attending Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating from veterinary school, she completed a rotating internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Eatontown, New Jersey. Since then, she has practiced in both general practice and emergency hospitals, giving her experience caring for a wide range of patients and medical conditions.

Dr. Volpe enjoys partnering with pet parents to navigate challenging medical situations and believes in working collaboratively to ensure every patient receives the best possible care. She has a special interest in hospice and end-of-life care, pain management, and dental health and treatment.

Outside of work, Dr. Volpe enjoys spending time with her husband, Tighe, and their pets: Darcy the dog, cats Murph, Calvin, and Hobbes, and their snake, Izzy. In her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends, playing golf, exercising, and cheering on Philadelphia sports teams.

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Conway to our Heart + Paw King of Prussia team! She is excited to meet you and your pets and is now accepting new clients. Get to know her by reading her bio below:

Dr. Sarah Conway was born and raised in South Jersey and recently moved to Pennsylvania to join the Heart + Paw King of Prussia family. She graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and proceeded to complete an ER-focused internship at Mt. Laurel Animal Hospital, where she gained experience in emergency medicine for dogs, cats, and exotic pets. She participated in surgeries at AWA Voorhees and performed primary care appointments for dogs and cats.

She recently transitioned to full-time primary care medicine to be able to build connections with families and provide compassionate care. She has a special interest in surgery.

Outside of work, she enjoys distance running, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.

There is no way that we could operate a rescue if we didn't have veterinary care for our animals. They are the first stop we make when we accept new dogs into our rescue, they help us along the way with anything we need, and they are there to help us at the very end if that is ever needed.

Finding Shelter would never be able to offer the level and quality of care that we do without our veterinary partners. They go above and beyond for our animals and there is no amount of thanks that we can give to every one of them that would be enough.
