Back in the saddle with Archie after a long break! This sweet guy has a bit of a cold back, so we’ve spent a lot of time on the ground building trust. Tonight was my first time back in the saddle in a while, and this fella did a great job! Looking forward to great things from him!

Well, I didn’t close the arena yesterday, and our boarders took the freshly groomed arena as a personal challenge and over half the ladies showed up and rode yesterday, so I got back on it this morning. Let’s see if the whole barn comes out to trample this fresh footing!

Naughty donkeys that roll in the mud get baths before breakfast! 🤣🤠🤣

Waffles took full advantage of the rain overnight (and Thank God for that rain!!) and had made quite a mess of himself. He was overdue for a spa day anyway, so he got to take a nice bath and get cleaned up before going to rest in his stall today.
