When we planned this litter, we knew we wanted to keep a female puppy for our program. I had a clear direction in mind, so I knew we needed a pup with not only the temperament we wanted, but also the structure and drive to hopefully make her way into the show ring.

So when Pepper was born, I didn’t initially consider her—not because I didn’t think she could fit, but because I didn’t want her coloring to influence my decision. As my family will tell you, I’m always saying we don’t choose a puppy based on color or pattern.

By about five weeks, after evaluating all the qualities we were looking for, it came down to Pepper and one other female. I had no idea how I was going to choose! 😂 Thankfully, the decision was made for us. It became clear that this little girl was already attached to the kids and my husband, so she chose her family.

Instead of a going-home post, this is a Pepper is staying with us post! We are so excited to officially introduce:

Wanda, now Summer, is getting to go on the fun adventure of flying home to Seattle with her family this morning! Summer was our vocal and happy pup, and we’ve really gotten to enjoy this extra week with her. While we are going to miss her, we are so excited for her new family and all the fun she is going to have 😊❤️ ✈️

How AH-DORABLE are these pups?! 🥰

We couldn’t resist getting a picture of the pups with their Snuggle Puppy® before they left! We were so excited to be able to send each pup home with their snuggle puppies to help them transition home, and they loved cuddling with them 🥰💕

And another pup is off! Danvers, now Mushu, is headed off to Utah with her family for a life full of cuddles and fun! We are so excited for our not so little chunky girl and her family as they start this new chapter together 🥰

Scarlett, now Penny, was the last of our pups to leave today! She is also the last of our pups that are leaving to stay here in Idaho. She reminds me so much of her mom, and we know she is just going to fit in so well with her family ❤️

Stark, now Delany, also got to head home today! He is just the sweetest boy, and is already so loved and spoiled. He also is staying here in Idaho, and we know he is going to get to go on so many fun adventure ❤️🏔️🌲
