Day 1: leaving the shelter.
Next comes, vaccines, spay surgery, play time at the kennel, picture day for her rescue and potential adoptors. Then transport, a fun and loving foster home, meet & greet events, the application process for her forever family, and then…. HOME!🏡 It’s a process, from the moment they are picked up by animal control, until they lay their heads on their new owners shoulder, we all do our part to save them. ❤️🐾

Big ol’ transport day! 13 boys and girls, heading to Massachusetts and Pennsylvania!🚌🗺️🐾❣️9 from Red Barn and 4 that were rescued and brought back to health by Doly Ca from Mexico! It’s always a great day and an emotional one for me, but I’m always excited for the next part of their journey!🥰

Frick & Frack began life with ‘slim to none’ chances of survival. It’s a struggle to keep up with the outrageous number of dogs that need help, we all do as much as we can. So much extra effort was given by Vero Garcia and her friend, we are so grateful! These 2 made it out, and will go on to live the lives they deserve! From Alone To Home Rescue🥰

Mr. Strangles Bo Jangles (whose name is actually Stone) and his little bro Thunder. They were being given away for free at a market in Mexico, thankfully Vero Garcia grabbed them! Stone came to us with a rare immune-mediated skin disease, called “Strangles”. Experts believe it’s an immune disorder, where the puppy’s immune system malfunctions and attacks its own tissues. It is not contagious, and is treated with steroids. Stone is completely healthy and is presently being weaned off the steroids. Always learning something new!📝👩🏻‍🏫🐾 From Alone To Home Rescue

We had a great run, but it’s time for me to let them go. Go to their rescues, their foster homes, their meet & greets, their new families and new amazing lives!! It’s hard to let them go, but now we save more! Happy lives to these 14 sweet, strong and resilient special souls!
