Hello! My name is Sierra and I am the head trainer and owner/operator of Canine Karma Training LLC - Texas.
I specialize in behavior modification and take a relationship-based, balanced approach to dog training. I have been working with pets and their owners for over 8 years! I believe that all dogs need play to have a happy fulfilled life and a that dog’s desire for training should be foundationally reward driven.
I have always been passionate about animals from a young age and dreamed of having a career in the pet industry. I started my own business (Blazing Tails Dog Training) several years ago and trained and learned from a variety of dogs in those years. Before that I was boarding dogs in my home and walking dogs in my neighborhood and surrounding areas for several years.
I have always had a passion for the psychology behind the behavior of animals which made me realize that I could not stand aside and watch my clients struggle with their dog’s behavior. And so in 2022, I began offering training to my boarding clients and realized - THIS is what I want to do for the rest of my life!
In 2024, I decided to take my training and expertise to the next level and apprentice with David and Isabela Herbert of David Herbert, Professional Dog Trainer in Virginia and expand the brand to Texas. After months of shadowing, training client dogs daily, and even taking charge of the board and train program, I now specializes in rehabilitating and modifying the behavior of dogs! My talent for understanding the behavior of animals and their owners has led to success in rehabilitating dogs having issues with aggression, fear, separation issues, and more. I look forward to helping your dog have the best life possible too!
