After a VERY LOOOOOOONNNNNG step away from training, and only doing the occasional board, thing are getting up and running again!

I am first and foremost a wife and a mom and I have spent the past 2 years being that. We have 7 (yes all ours) wonderful kiddos, a 7.5 acre homestead where we have horses and raise and breed Myotonic (fainting) goats, AND we homeschool 5 of the 7 kiddos. To say that I am busy with life is some days exactly that, others not so much.

But I love dog training, and I am jumping back into it starting this month with Lacey and Thor coming over Thanksgiving for a 5 day board and train. I will also have 2 other dogs boarding with me, which leaves ONE more kennel available for boarding. It can accommodate any size dog from small to XXL. My current rate is $25/day. I will not accept any aggressive dog as I do have small kids and their safety is always first.

My very own Mya has been practicing for her Broadway debut. She and our chuweenie auditioned for the role of Sandy and both were quickly favorites. Ultimately, Mya's size beat out Daisy. Come see her and all the talented kids perform in Annie Jr. At the Pulse Theater in Warren, IN NOV 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27, and DEC 2, 3, 4.

Milli makes this look so easy! But trust me, it took a lot of time, training, and trust between us to bring her to the girl she is. Is she perfect? No. We are still working through the last puppy phases as she matures into an adult. It all started the day I got her! Ask me about my puppy foundation trainings to get your pup started off right.

So excited to be able to send her service dog with her for her next big treatment. I have had the pleasure to be able to give Amirica and her mom more independence by training Amirica's dog Luna to assist her with her disabilities. Basic, advanced, and public access training has breezed by. Is she finished? No, but she has tasks already learned at just 11 months of age! A few more things to learn, and this pair will be inseparable. I love training dogs for service work 🥰

Normally this would be my worst nightmare for a dog of mine to look like! HOWEVER, Millicent is our Livestock Guardian Dog (LGD) and to know she has zero problem in conditions like rain, snow, wet, muddy is fantastic. Milli has completed a 10 day basic and advanced training, and it shows in her sit I gave her from behind the camera, as well as being ready to go and patient while getting the leash. All this is leading up to a wonderful off leash obedient dog partner to work with on our farm or a trip into town. There is no reason why she cannot do both! She is in the house and outside and her obedience would not be as successful if I just let her go on her own from day 1 in the field.

Zeus has been home a few days now and his family is working so well with him! He aced all my cat tricks and now is home to continue to grow and accept ALL the fur family members in his house😻

Finishing up a board and train behavior modification...he wanted to eat the families cat(s)😳 Plus with his size and anxieties, he just needed communication opened up and some simple lifestyle changes. Hopefully returning home, he will continue to come past his anxieties as he has come so far here! He did so great with our helpful cats while he was here, but in a controlled/semi controlled environment. He is set up for success. Now the hard part...sending him home to adjust to a new set of rules in his home, and training his people!
