To my clients, so many of whom have also become my friends,
It is with mixed emotions that I write to inform you that I will be retiring from veterinary medicine later this month.
Since the first house call in 2013, it has been my honor and pleasure to serve many wonderful families in the great communities of Carroll and Frederick Counties and South Central Pennsylvania. No two house calls were the same, and for each experience and each of you, I am so very grateful.
Thank you for allowing me and my team members into your home, even during COVID, and for trusting us with the care of your four-footed family members. Getting to know you and your little furry ones (ok, some are not so little) during these visits elevated my job to become my joy.
Now it’s time to prioritize my own health as well as to spend more time with my mother, who recently lost her husband of 30+ years.
Dr. Pusateri and the rest of my team will continue to provide in-home services in Maryland through February, and our online store will remain open for a few months after that to allow you to purchase medications and preventives until you can establish a new veterinary relationship. Please let us know if you would like your pet’s records to be emailed to you or a veterinary provider.
If you’re home this summer and you see someone waving at you while riding a white bicycle with a yellow helmet, it might be me, so please wave back!
With deepest gratitude,
Carolyn Cornett, DVM
