The Mexico 5 Are Finally Home!

Yesterday, our Mexico 5 dogs completed the final leg of their journey from Toronto, Canada to their forever homes in Calgary, Canada with the help of our amazing partners at .

After surviving the streets of Rayon, Mexico, these five now have an incredible future ahead of them filled with safety, love, and happiness.

A huge thank you to and for helping with today’s transport, and to everyone who has supported and donated to this freedom mission. None of this would be possible without you.

I know the team back in Mexico will be filled with tears of joy seeing these little ones finally get the lives they deserve.

Please help us wish them a happy life as they begin this beautiful new chapter.

Last month, when storms hit the .shelter.egypt horse and donkey sanctuary and severe flooding damaged the facility, Stray Dog Support stepped in to help. One of the most urgent needs was replacing the sand flooring for the many horses and donkeys that call the sanctuary home.

Thanks to generous support, we were able to secure truckloads of sand along with the equipment needed to spread it throughout the sanctuary. And as you can see, the animals are so much happier and more comfortable now.

This sanctuary operates on very limited resources while caring for so many abused and neglected horses and donkeys. Right now, they are desperately in need of hay and straw. If you would like to help, we would be incredibly grateful.

While we are a dog rescue, we always try to support as many animals as we can. Every act of kindness makes a difference.

Benny may be a senior rescue pup, but the second he realizes we’re going to Fungility, he turns into a puppy again.

One of the best parts of having an older dog is finding the things that still make them feel happy. Senior dogs may slow down a little, but they still need enrichment, new experiences, and time to play and explore. Seeing Benny this happy reminds us that fun has no age limit 🦴✨

Rescue seniors deserve the world too!
