To continue our series on getting to know our staff, next, we are featuring our part-time Kennel Attendants. Malia is up next. 🤩

A part-time kennel attendant has several important responsibilities. They are the ones who bring your dog to you when you come to pick up at the end of the day. It is their responsibility to maintain a clean facility, which includes cleaning every daycare and boarding kennel to ensure it is ready for the next dog. They also feed and let out all the boarding dogs, making sure each dog is well cared for during their stay. They are trained to serve as backups in daycare groups or to work with day camp dogs. Malia juggles school, all her sports and another job and still has a smile on her face and works hard.

🐾When asked Malia why she likes working at Tails & Trails, her response was –
At Tails & Trails our plan for taking care of each dog and giving them the best experience is truly unique to them. Everything from which kennel they stay in to how much activity they need is specific to that dog. Unlike other facilities, each dog truly is family to us and we treat them as our own!

🐾What does Malia do in her free time –
In my free time I spend lots of time with friends going out to eat, going to the gym, or finding random activities to do! I also play volleyball, soccer, and softball which takes up a lot of my time! Me and my family enjoy going to Six Flags, the movies, or camping/hiking as well!

Tails & Trails would not be what it is without these amazing ladies! Thank you, Malia, for all that you do! We are blessed to have you as part of the Tails family. 🥰🐶😍

The abundant amount of love that we give each and every dog whether they stay for one night or come for day care every day!

🐾What does Kaylee do in her free time –
My favorite thing to do in my free time is hang out with my family and friends and go shopping.
