To continue our series on getting to know our staff, next in the lineup is Rachelle. Rachelle is our Assistant Manager. 🤩
Rachelle’s primary duty is to oversee the daily operations to ensure the safety and quality of care of all pets in all areas. Safety and quality of care is her expertise! We call her the dog guru!
🐾When asked why Rachelle likes working at Tails & Trails, her response was -
Every aspect! Our team, mission, and constant drive to make the boarding, daycare, grooming, facility and client experience the gold standard of care!
We have an exceptional team of knowledgeable, caring and dedicated staff who each come with a wealth of expertise in various areas! We treat each dog as an individual and work to bring out the best in each dog and treat our guests (dogs and people) as family. I love that every single member of our team has been here from the start or shortly after opening, and that no matter what the breed, age, or personality, we do our best to help provide resources to set each pup up for success. We're not just a service...we're a home away from home and caring diligently for all these precious pups is a joy.
I also love that Tails & Trails is so supportive of rescue dogs and adoption. A lot of dogs in our care have been adopted, and we enjoy being a source of education, support, and advocacy for the dogs and their families who are opening their homes to dogs who need a second chance. No matter where each dog comes from, puppy or adult, our exceptional care standards and practices make Tails & Trails the best there is in the pet care industry.
🐾What does Rachelle do in her free time -
Nature, animals and coffee! I spend a lot of my spare time caring for, riding and training my horses! I also love hiking all over with my dogs - Theo, a English Shepherd/Great Pyrenes/Border Collie mix, and Benny, a Basset Hound, both rescues! I'm a huge advocate for dog rescues, and spent the first 8 years after college working at a humane society. I love anything to do with spending time outdoors. I'm also a huge coffee lover and love trying out new coffee shops!
