I guess it’s time to answer a few questions.

Q: You bought a goat?
A: Yes. She’s a 5 month old Saanen

Q: Are you going to eat it?
A: No. She has moved to a hobby farm where she is adjusting to her new surroundings. She’s getting to know the horses, ponies, cats , and other goats.

Q: What’s her name?
A: When we bought her at the fair, her name was Cheyanne. During a meeting of the minds, Lori Schueller suggested naming her after Tom’s Old Country Mill. Tommy didn’t really seem to fit. Here’s a picture of Mille from this morning.

We love to support the youth in agriculture. Sometimes that means leaving the fair with a goat.
