Bella (Georgette) from the Disney Dogs was able to walk in the ocean for the first time this week. These are the wonderful opportunities that bring such joy from finding great homes for the pups.

If you want to check in on the namesake of the Rocky IV litter, you can check in on him in this video. Rocky (now Nugget) almost didn’t make it through the first week, but just kept coming back. He is now 80 pounds and loving life on the homestead. He shows up in this episode between the 16 & 18 minute marks and again around 28 minutes. ❤️❤️

Too cute not to share. I always love receiving pictures of the pups. This is Astro (Pluto). I think he had the perfect big sister mastiff. 😁

In the middle of celebrating the beginning of life for sweet pups, I found out yesterday that sweet Ty had to leave this world. Ty was Reagan’s first pup that made it to almost uncharted waters for a Berner. Reagan was “old” at 12 years and 7 months when he passed. Ty was 14 years, 2 months, and 28 days. He was the sweetest boy that returned the great love that he gave to me, then Blake, then Jackie Snelling. I am so thankful that Jackie still let me be a part of Ty’s journey, and thankful for the companionship he provided her. The second picture is he & Reagan together when Ty turned 10. We never have enough time with them, but we can sure be thankful for these gifts we had.

One last tug of war before they left.

And, then there were none. 🥹.

Stella left today with Jeff & Sandra Spears to live her life on her farm in Lyles, TN. She has a cat that will have her hands full trying to see if she can tame some of her energy.

Copper is becoming Ranger, and she was the birthday present for Stella, and her family Jody & Brittany Cates and sister Hazel in McEwen, TN. This sweetest of sweet pups will be the rock star of a birthday party tomorrow and will learn to enjoy the life on the lake from his older brother Golden Retriever.

For the first time since June 17, the guest bedroom will be empty. This is Maggie’s last litter, so it may be a while before we experience the joy of life that bringing puppies into the world and sharing that joy with families brings. They are blessings from God, and I pray they have years of healthy blessings for their families.

They left food their bowl, but Copper was convinced I was withholding something they needed in the adult bowl. The pups have located the vents and are fitting in with the pre-bedtime nap.

One last wagon ride before Copper & Stella leave tomorrow.

That $4 toy has held up better than expensive ones.
