Meet Ozzie. Ozzie is a sweet, playful, and affectionate 2 year old dog with a big personality and a very loving nature. He loves to snuggle, cuddle with his toys, collect sticks, and spend time with his people. He is energetic, loyal, smart, and eager to please, making him a wonderful companion for an active household, first-time owners, families, and anyone who enjoys time outdoors.
Ozzie is great with children, older people, strangers, and other pets. He is fully house-trained, crate-trained, leash-trained, and well-behaved. He knows basic commands, responds well to voice cues, comes when called, and has good off-leash recall. He is highly trainable and very intelligent, so much so that he has even figured out how to open and close a door handle.
Ozzie thrives with regular exercise and is happiest when he gets a good, long walk each day, ideally at least 3 miles. He loves exploring outside, swimming in the river, playing with toys, and enjoying treats. He is adventurous and active, but also affectionate, cuddly, and comfortable relaxing at home once he has had enough movement. He is not a huge fan of being washed, but he loves water when it means swimming.
Ozzie is neutered, microchipped, regularly groomed, healthy, and up to date on all vaccinations. He has no medical conditions, no special needs, and no dietary restrictions, though he will happily eat just about anything. He is friendly, adaptable, confident, playful, and deeply loving. A smart, loyal, fun companion who brings a lot of joy.
