Weather Update

Due to continued flooding and dangerous conditions throughout Kerr County, Kerrville Veterinary Clinic and The Kennel will remain closed for the remainder of today. At this time, we plan to reopen tomorrow morning for normal business hours at 8:00 AM, weather and road conditions permitting.

We urge everyone to stay safe and remain at home unless you are under an evacuation order or it is absolutely necessary to travel.

Weather Delay Notice

Due to the severe weather and flooding Kerrville experienced overnight, with additional heavy rainfall continuing this morning, Kerrville Veterinary Clinic and The Kennel will delay opening until 1:30 p.m. today.

The safety of our clients, patients, and staff is our top priority. We encourage everyone to stay safe, avoid flooded roadways, and continue to monitor local weather conditions.

For clients with pets currently staying at the clinic or kennel, please know that a dedicated team of staff members is on-site caring for all hospitalized and boarded patients. Their care and well-being remain our highest priority.

We will continue to monitor conditions throughout the morning and provide additional updates as the situation develops.

Does your pet get anxious for fireworks?

Don't forget to order your pet's anxiety meds in advance for the upcoming 4th of July. We also want to notify our clients that we will be closed on Saturday July 4th. However, we will still be open regular business hours on Friday July 3rd.

KVC would like to thank everyone for the incredible outpouring of support, patience, and understanding during this challenging time.

Our team is working diligently to clean and restore the reception area, and we are coordinating all necessary efforts to reopen as quickly and safely as possible.
At this time, our Kennel and Grooming services will remain unaffected and will continue operating as scheduled throughout the week.

We will remain closed in the clinic for regular appointments all day tomorrow (Tuesday 6/23) as we continue cleanup efforts, assess the front area, and ensure it is safe for both our clients, patients and staff. If you need to pick up medication or have medical emergencies please reach out and we will accommodate as best as possible.

Our current plan is to reopen on Wednesday (6/24/26) at 8:00 AM using curbside service, as the lobby will likely still be unavailable for use. We will continue to provide updates as progress is made.

We sincerely appreciate your support, patience, and encouragement. Please know that our team is working hard to restore our beautiful clinic and return to full operations as soon as possible.
