Sweet Goose can use the litter box again after surgery to help him urinate and prevent urinary blockage!! He had a perineal urethrostomy surgery (PU) which can be lifesaving for male cats that struggle with repeated obstruction episodes. We also appreciate the trust that his veterinarian, Dr Borgmann, and Kitty Mom (awesome employee at Adams Farm Animal Hospital) has in us- such an honor to help our fellow veterinary team members!

Inspiring young minds coming to visit for the day for a behind the scenes look into Veterinary Medicine. We were delighted to show this bright group of 10 year olds how we prep a dog for surgery! What a great way to explore the real side of what it’s like being a vet for these youngsters!

Rex had an elbow injection today to help relieve pain and discomfort due to arthritis. This medication improves mobility and quality of life in 80-85% of dogs after injection for 12-24 months.

While Kristie had some R&R on vacation, Katie came out with us for 2 days! Lots of catching up and reminiscing ♥️
Josh (our visiting veterinary student) was a great sport and has been seeing lots of surgery this week!

When veterinarians trust you to perform surgery their personal pet, it is the HIGHEST compliment!! MVSS loves the trust and collaboration on all cases, but this means so much 😊. This video was sent of Quiche 3 days after TPLO. The only concern was if they were doing “too well” and using the leg too much. Look at how comfortable she is walking on a short leash and wearing the Lick Sleeve!
