Rondout Valley Vets Here at RV Vets our services include both routine preventative and advanced veterinary medical and surgical care for your animal companion.

We use a blend of traditional and alternative means, including advanced laboratory, radiographic, and ultrasound diagnostics, acupuncture, chiropractic, herbal/nutritional therapy and, soon to be added, canine rehabilitation medicine.

🎃🐾 Halloween can be fun for everyone—including our furry family members! From adorable costumes to pet-friendly treats, there are plenty of ways to let your pets join the celebration. 👻

But even the spookiest night comes with a few things to watch out for: keep candy and chocolate out of reach, skip costumes that restrict breathing or movement, watch for small decorations that could be swallowed, and give pets a quiet, safe space away from the doorbell and trick-or-treaters if they get overwhelmed.

The last photo is an inventory of what came out of a dog when we induced vomiting after eating some candy that he shouldn't have.

A little extra care can help make Halloween happy, safe, and stress-free for everyone! 🧡🐶🐱
