It was a good day to garden! The Sun, pleasant temperatures and autumn crops to harvest. And some summer crops that are still going 😁
I harvested turnip greens to make room for the rest of the turnips to grow. I parboiled & froze them since the spinach that I froze had been used ❤️
Amazingly, I'm still getting peppers! Here are 3 red ones, and then there's even more green ones.
I got one mini butternut Squash on that plant, which will be going in my lunch this week 😊 and I harvested the last of my beans for dinner tomorrow, leaving a bunch on the Vine to make seeds for next year.
I'm also going to experiment with the baby turnips that were on the greens I pulled.
Of course, there is lettuce and the kale is doing great and some of my peas are fruiting!
Even some of my carrots actually survived all storms and are growing!
If my tomatoes hadn't gotten blight I think I'd still be getting a few of those too, because there are 1 or 2 that are still trying their hardest to ripen.
I was a bit afraid to look out at my vegetables after the storms, but they actually are doing great!
