With the current wildfires impacting air quality across the Midwest, it’s important to take a few extra precautions to help keep your pets safe.

-Limit outdoor time to quick potty breaks and avoid long walks or strenuous exercise.

-Keep pets indoors as much as possible with windows and doors closed.

-Make sure fresh water is always available

🚨As this continues, please watch for signs of smoke irritation such as coughing, sneezing, watery eyes, excessive panting, difficulty breathing, or unusual lethargy. If your pet is having difficulty breathing or develops these symptoms, please contact a veterinarian right away 🚨

If your pet will need anti-anxiety medication for fireworks or holiday celebrations, please call our office this week to request a refill or arrange pickup before the holiday.
