Part of the Kate Plus 8 Litter, Alex is a handsome little pittie mix with a beautiful light brown brindle coat and a personality that keeps life interesting. Curious, playful, and always ready for his next adventure, Alex approaches every day like it's packed full of opportunities for fun.

Whether he's exploring the backyard, carrying a toy around like he's on an important mission, or trying to convince someone to stop what they're doing and play with him, Alex is happiest when he's engaged with the world around him. And after all that hard work? He's more than happy to cash in for some cuddles and a well-earned nap. 🥹💛

Meet Hope, one of the newest members of the Mastro Mutts family! 🥹✨

This beautiful girl joined our pack just this morning and has already completely stolen our hearts. Over the next week, Hope will be focusing on what every rescue dog deserves: decompressing, settling in, and learning that she's finally safe in her foster home. 💛🏡

Hope is approximately 2 years old, and while we can't say for certain what her breed mix is, we're thinking she may have some German Shorthaired Pointer mixed in there somewhere. Whatever her DNA says, one thing is already clear—she is absolutely wonderful.

Sweet? Check.
Beautiful? Check.
Already has us completely obsessed? Also check. 😂🐶

We'll be spending the next several days getting to know her personality, her likes and dislikes, and all the little things that make Hope uniquely Hope. For now, we're simply thrilled to welcome her to the Mastro Mutts family and give her the chance to relax, breathe, and enjoy being loved. 💛

Meet two of the newest members of the Mastro Mutts Family! They have officially arrived, and let's just say... they're not exactly tiny. 😂🐶

Bonnie and Clyde are believed to be Rottweiler mixes, and these kiddos are already tipping the scales at 24 and 25 pounds at just 11 weeks old. That's not puppy-sized. That's "better start measuring the couch now" sized. 🛋️😂

We're still getting to know their personalities, but one thing is already crystal clear: these two are going to be BIG dogs.

And honestly?

We love big mutts and we cannot lie. 💛🐾

So please join us in welcoming Bonnie and Clyde to the Mastro Mutts family! We can't wait to watch them settle into their foster homes, grow into those giant paws, and begin their journey toward finding forever families of their own.

🐱🏡 Seeking Homes for Working Cats 🏡🐱

Not every cat dreams of curling up on a couch and binge-watching Netflix with their humans.

Some cats prefer a different lifestyle. They enjoy their independence, prefer spending their time outdoors, and simply aren't interested in becoming traditional house pets. That doesn't mean they don't deserve safety, care, and a place to call home. 💛

We are currently looking for placements for working cats—cats who thrive in environments such as:

🌲 Large properties

These cats are happiest when they have a safe home base, reliable food and water, shelter from the elements, and humans who look out for them while allowing them the freedom they prefer.

Working cats can also provide natural rodent control while living the lifestyle that suits them best.

All we're asking for is a safe place where these cats can be cared for and live their lives on their own terms. 🐾

🥒🐾 Pickles — Big Ears, Bigger Heart 🐾🥒

14 Weeks Old | Male | Bloodhound (Probably... VERY Bloodhound 😂)

Let's just address the elephant—or perhaps the Bloodhound—in the room.

We can't say with 100% certainty that Pickles is a purebred Bloodhound... but honestly? Have you looked at him? 😂

This boy is about as Bloodhound as they come. The ears. The wrinkles. The giant paws. The permanently confused expression. It's all there.

At just 14 weeks old, Pickles already weighs 37 pounds, which means if you're thinking about adopting him, you may want to start mentally preparing to surrender an entire couch. Not because he'll demand one... but because eventually he'll simply become too large to share yours. 🛋️🐶

Pickles is the sweetest, derpiest puppy you could ever hope to meet. His ears are so big that he regularly trips over them, accidentally dunks them in his water bowl, and we're fairly certain a strong enough wind could carry him away like a furry kite. 🥹😂

Despite his goofy appearance, Pickles is incredibly smart and eager to learn. He is currently working on all the important puppy basics in his foster home and is doing an amazing job. Potty training? Check. Leash training? Check. Learning how to be a good boy? Absolutely. This kid is picking everything up remarkably quickly.

Pickles has been well socialized and does great with:

🐱 Cats
👧 Children

One thing his future family should know is that Pickles can occasionally display some resource guarding behaviors. Because of that, he will need continued positive reinforcement training and guidance as he grows. The good news is that he is a very intelligent puppy who enjoys learning and is already making excellent progress.

Pickles is the perfect combination of goofy, loving, and endlessly entertaining. If you've always dreamed of owning a dog whose ears arrive in a room before the rest of him, your search may officially be over. 💛🐾
