When we say we pay attention to the little things, we mean it! 🐸

David spotted this little guy tucked away in the grass during one of our pickups.

Our job requires us to pay close attention to what's happening in the yards we care for. Sometimes that means spotting something that needs attention. Other times, it means discovering a little visitor hiding in plain sight.

It's all in the details. 💚

🐾 Pooper of the Week: Titus 🐾

Meet Titus Maverick — an 8-year-old German Shepherd who is strong, stoic, and very serious about water.

His favorite toy is his blue ball, and his favorite thing to do is anything involving water. Running through it, swimming in it, playing in it — Titus is all in.

His name was already Titus when his family saved him from going to the Humane Society. They added Maverick because of how strong and stoic he was, and it fits him perfectly.

Big heart. Strong spirit. Happiest near water.

One thing we’ve come to appreciate about working outside every day is how much there is to notice when you actually slow down and look.

We come across wildlife, flowers, butterflies, deer… and sometimes a spider web that makes us stop and say, “Okay, that is pretty incredible.” 🕸️

Not everything we find in a yard involves a p**p scoop. 😂

Apparently, leaving immediately afterward was never part of the agreement. 😂

🐾 Pooper of the Week: Cutler 🐾

Meet Cutler — a 5-year-old retired racer who is very new to home life.

His racing name was Arkwild B Captain Cutler, and his litter was named after Scooby-Doo characters. Fun little detail: the ghost of Captain Cutler was the only mystery Shaggy solved in the series. Apparently, Cutler came with a backstory.

He finished racing at the end of May and went straight from his last race at the track to rescue. Now he’s learning what it means to be in a home, where everything is new, fun, and worth checking out.

His favorite toy? All of them.
Honestly, fair. He has some catching up to do.

Welcome to the good life, Cutler. 🐾

That orange stuff on our boots isn’t dirt. 👀

It’s lawn rust — and the spores can easily travel on shoes, equipment, clothing and even your dog’s fur.

That’s one of the reasons we sanitize our equipment and boots between pickups. We don’t want to carry anything from one yard into the next.

It’s a small step, but an important one when you’re working in someone else’s space. 💩🩷

🐾 Pooper of the Week: Hazel 🐾

Meet Hazel — a 9-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever who takes fetch very seriously.

Her favorite toy is a tennis ball, her favorite treat is pig ears, and her favorite activity is — no surprise here — fetch.

We can personally confirm this. When we’re there for pickups, Hazel makes sure no one is just standing around, scooping p**p or not. If there’s a ball nearby, she has a job for us… and apparently we’ve been hired.

Hazel got her name from the beautiful color of her eyes, which fits her perfectly.

Sweet, focused, and always ready for one more throw.

We see you, Hazel. 🐾

We’ve had our pink shirts for a while, but now there’s no mistaking who’s walking through your yard. 😂

We recently added the Pooptopia name to the back, and we love how it turned out.

Apparently “dog p**p people” is only part of the job description. 😂🎾

Hazel, Oscar and Louie are always ready when we arrive — and sometimes a strategically thrown ball is the only way we’re getting through that gate.

Then there’s Oscar…still waiting for us after the pickup was done. ❤️
