Hedge of Alaska- Hedgehog Breeder

07/25/2026

Well it has been a very slow year here. Sometimes nature doesn't want to meet our time lines.
We appreciate everyone hanging in there with us. Thanks to you all.
The beginning of August we will be breeding a couple new girls.

Sigh...... breeding sure has its ups and downs. Martha's babies did not make it. Being a new Mom is hard. She tried and next time she might do better or retire early.
We are still hoping Charlize has babies, however I am leary.
Hang in there with me!! I appreciate you all!!

Pause for a brief message.....
Well we hoped babies would come. And they didn't, it happens. You can't force nature.
We have 3 pairs breeding now. So hopefully around July 4th we will have some babies.
Thanks for all the patience.
