Back when I was in Sisters Oregon, I got this scrubby under trained mare from Sweet Home Oregon as a fixer upper " Fancy "

Took me 3 attempts to get her into a good fit. She went home with 1 family and couldn't adjust into their herd, so she came home with me again. She then went with another buyer who I held her hand and I don't even remember why she didn't keep her but she came back to me again ( its been 13 yrs )
She had fractures in her neck from the 1st home I got her from or previous to them, we really don't know. Shes had a full life despite them.

Ms Bonnie was taking some lessons with me, to get her horse legs back on after a few yrs out of the saddle and guess who clicked with Fancy.

Well they are still together and here Fancy is still with her owner Bonnie, headed into the Centry Ride (owner and horses age = 100)

In 2021 Sky came to me on consignment.
I placed him with my client and sweet lady Linda, whom I had rode several Arabian horses for when I was in central Oregon.
Knowing she was aging and needing more
Whoa than go as she aged, she purchased Sky from us. I took him to her to ensure he was what she wanted.
It wasn't even a year. And I got a message she was terminally ill.
She found Sky a home prior to passing.
That lady has kept me in the loop and even though he was just a consignment horse it makes me smile because Linda would be so happy seeing her horse be so loved and used.

Anyhow here is Sky at the St Paul parade🥰

I have had several calls about starting c**ts lately, and here is where I am, yes I am riding outside horses. Am I screaming it from the roof, NO, I am enjoying being a mother of a toddler again and thats short lived and I give more than 20 lessons a week ( and thats a lot easier on my body )

Get those young horses loping and not bucking and more than 1 time, and I don't care what else they know and I will take over, but you're gonna have to send me videos of the c**t starter or yourself, because lets be real clear, people lie 🤣

I will not risk what is left in this body mileage wise, for a paycheck, I have invested the last 6 yrs into building another breeding program and have performance horses I won't park because someone's c**t was a POS and I didn't get it covered.

Saturday he inhaled his 1st, he lost his inside leg on 2nd and scrambled. Video didn't make it look at bad as it felt, I feel this photo does it justice, he recovered ran hard to 3rd and home


Seasoning horses isn't for the faint of heart. The highs and the lows are real. I feel loving the animal makes it so much easier

Sunday we doubled back to push harder from the wall to 1st and I just clipped the 1st, it slow motion fell over, we had an awesome 2nd, it was hard to decide which photo did him justice, and awesome 3rd and great effort home, clocking a 18.9 definitely not winning any land speed records but in 16 runs I am more than satisfied with his style. His effort and his even better attitude ❤️

Even if your business is small, just the fact that you are following your dreams and creating employment for yourself is extraordinary.
