Your pet's brain needs a workout too. 🐶🧩

If your pet struggles when the house gets quiet, enrichment activities can make a huge difference. Here are a few easy ones to try:

🧁 Muffin Tin Game — put treats under tennis balls in a muffin tin. Your pet has to sniff out the right cup!
🌿 Snuffle Mat — hides kibble in a textured mat so mealtime becomes a full nose workout
🧠 Puzzle Feeders — slow feeders and puzzle toys keep anxious pups focused and calm
🧦 Scent Swap — leave an old shirt or worn item nearby so your pet has your scent while you're gone

Sudden routine changes are one of the top triggers for separation anxiety in dogs. Here's what to watch for in the first few weeks:

😟 Excessive barking or whining when you leave
🚪 Scratching at doors or windows
💩 Accidents inside, even in housebroken dogs
🛋️ Destructive chewing (furniture, pillows, shoes)
😰 Pacing, trembling, or drooling without physical activity
🙈 Hiding or refusing to eat
