Your dog just ate chocolate. Take a breath — here's what to do. 🐾

1️⃣ Remove access — get your pet away from any remaining chocolate immediately
2️⃣ Gather info — note the type of chocolate, how much was eaten, when it happened, and your pet's weight
3️⃣ Call your vet or the Pet Poison Helpline (1-888-222-1222) right away — don't wait for symptoms

Time matters. The sooner you call, the more options your vet has. When in doubt, always reach out. 💙

It’s such a wonderful feeling to work for a company that truly values its veterinary technicians and goes above and beyond to make us feel appreciated! 🥰

From the decorations and fun activities to the treats, surprises, and all the little things that make us feel special, it’s clear that the people behind these celebrations put a lot of thought and heart into recognizing our team.

Veterinary medicine isn’t always easy. It comes with long days, emotional moments, challenging cases, and so much hard work that often goes unseen. But having an employer that recognizes the dedication, compassion, and important role of veterinary technicians makes such a difference. ❤️

❤️🐾 Happy National Veterinary Technician Week! 🐾❤️

Being a veterinary technician is so much more than a job. It’s being the calm voice when a patient is scared, the gentle hands when they’re hurting, the advocate for those who cannot speak, and the shoulder for a family when the news isn’t what they hoped to hear.

It’s celebrating the victories, carrying the heartbreak, working through exhaustion, and showing up day after day because the lives in our hands matter. It’s the blood, sweat, tears, long hours, difficult decisions, endless learning, and countless moments of love that most people never see.

We wear many hats, but the greatest privilege is being trusted with the care of someone’s beloved family member. We may not always get the recognition we deserve, but we know the difference we make. ❤️

To my fellow veterinary technicians: I see you. I appreciate you. And I’m proud to be one of you. Thank you for your dedication, your compassion, and the love you pour into this profession every single day.
