🐾Happy Vet Tech Week! 🐾

To all the vet techs who give so much of themselves to care for the animals who can’t say thank you — we see you, we appreciate you, and we couldn’t do it without you! Your compassion, dedication, hard work, and love for animals make a difference in so many lives. Even on the toughest days, you show up with caring hearts and helping hands🖤 A little bit of nursing, a little bit of cleaning, a little bit of counseling, a whole lot of multitasking, and an endless amount of LOVE! We had the pleasure of seeing miss Phenix from Lost Mountain Alpaca Ranch and it was a great way to start the week ☺️ Huge shout out to Dogwood specialty and emergency, Pet Angel cremation services, Elanco and Idexx for supporting our technicians and keeping them happy with all of the snacks !

🌿 Plants can brighten any space, but not all of them are safe for cats.

Before bringing a new plant into your home or garden, check whether it’s cat-friendly. Some common plants can be harmful if chewed or ingested, and fertilizers, pesticides, and plant treatments may also pose a risk.

Keep toxic plants out of your home, choose pet-safe products, and remember: placing a plant “out of reach” may not stop a curious climber! 🐱🪴

A little research can help your plants and your cat thrive safely together.

Dental problems aren’t always easy to spot, and dogs and cats may show discomfort in different ways. 🦷🐾 Bad breath, tartar buildup, pawing at the mouth, drooling, dropping food, or changes in eating habits can all be signs it’s time for a dental check. Regular veterinary exams can help catch oral health concerns early and keep your pet comfortable.
