Big news! 🎉

We'll be vending for the very first time at the Southeast Reptile Expo on August 1st & 2nd, and we couldn't be more excited!

Our new table banner just arrived, and we're honestly stoked with how it turned out. Now it's time to finish getting everything ready for the show.

We'll be bringing a great selection of captive-bred reptiles, and we can't wait to meet everyone in person. If you're planning on attending, be sure to stop by and say hello!

See you August 1st & 2nd! 🦎

One of our hold back Hispaniolan curlytails males (Leiocephalus schreibersii) really starting to put on some awesome color. He is really taking down too where I can pick him up without any issues.

We recently received another new awesome product from called "Uro Spice".

Once again Phill nailed it! The Uros once again couldn't resist the ingredients Phill has put together. This time I tried offering it dry and they all seemed to enjoy. I am looking forward to trying it with a little water / soaked to add a little more aromatics to their drive.

If you are looking to get some of "Uromastyx Spice" for your own Uromastyx, Chuckwalla, or Xenagama DM Phill on his page

Hatchling Alert!
Just hatched out my first ever Hispaniolan curlytails (Leiocephalus schreibersii).

This is a milestone for us — first time producing this species, and I’m really hoping to work toward some truly vibrant individuals in the coming seasons.

They’ve already been super fun to work with — bold, active, and full of personality. Excited to grow this project and see where it goes!

Always exciting to see babies in the incubator! 🐣✨

Our High Yellow Moroccan Uromastyx (Uromastyx nigriventris) 💛 pair's clutch started hatching today! (The pair is shown in picture #6.)

The ongoing High Yellow vs. Yellow-Green debate continues here at Spectrum headquarters — aka the house 😂.

This pair is especially interesting because, while you'd expect them to produce solid Yellow babies, they consistently produce Bi-Colored babies. I currently have just one holdback baby (pictures 4 & 5), where you can see beautiful orange 🧡 and yellow 💛 coloration coming through.

Can’t wait to see how the rest of this clutch turns out! 🙌

Here’s one of our male Hispaniolan curlytail lizards (Leiocephalus schreibersii). This is our second season working with this species, and we’ve been learning a lot about their care and breeding. So far, we’ve collected two clutches (5 eggs each) from one of our females. Hoping for some babies this season!

I was too scared to take pictures outside, these wild caught individuals are a little squirrelly 🐿️
