It’s Vet Tech Week, and we’re celebrating the amazing team at Chateau Veterinary Hospital!

Behind every comforting cuddle, carefully monitored procedure, and reassuring moment is a team member putting their heart into caring for your pets. Their days are busy, their work isn’t always easy, and their compassion makes a difference every day.

Registered Veterinary Technicians complete specialized college education in veterinary technology and pass a national credentialing exam. Their training includes anesthesia, dentistry, laboratory testing, nursing care, and so much more. We’re proud to celebrate the knowledge and skills they bring to your pets’ care!

To our veterinary technicians and support team: thank you for your dedication, kindness, and the laughter you bring to Chateau. We are so grateful for each of you!

Help us show them some love! Leave a thank-you or share a favorite memory of a team member in the comments.

For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re sharing the stories of some very special survivors. Meet Harley, a 9-year-old Chihuahua mix. 💗

Harley spent the first two years of her life chained outside before her family rescued her. She came into their lives when they needed each other.

After losing three older pets in just a year and a half, her family had decided they couldn’t bear the heartbreak of welcoming another dog. Then they heard Harley needed a home. Her mom says Harley arrived at the perfect time: they gave her a loving home, and Harley helped their family heal.

This year, Harley had surgery for breast cancer, and she has been doing well. Her family noticed a change and got her the care she needed. Finding a mammary mass early can make a meaningful difference, so please let us know if you feel a new lump near your pet’s belly or ni***es.

We’re celebrating Harley and the family who gave her a home and found so much love in return.

Baxter, a 16-week-old French Bulldog and Dachshund mix, stopped by Chateau Veterinary Hospital for his puppy vaccinations and a little Halloween fun!

We dressed this sweet little guy as a gator for his costume photos, and he was almost too cute to handle. Short legs, big ears, and the sweetest little face. This is one gator we’d happily snuggle! 🎃🐾
