Another throw back 😂 Current MKC show chair Carla Catalano, before she joined MKC, showing one of her parent’s Alaskan Malamutes in 1981. This was before the working group was divided. Now we have the Working and Herding Groups! Judge was Bob Wills who handled the stormy weather without a hesitation.

We now have a new page called the Lagniappe Classic AKC Dog Shows that all show updates will be posted to. Please follow both the Louisiana Kennel Club and the Metairie Kennel Club there for future updates on the Lagniappe Classic.

We truly thank everyone for giving our new show site a chance. We knew you would love it! NBA lighting! Air conditioning that was beyond great. Yes, we had a few learning curves but we managed to work things out.
We will keep you posted on our future via our new page. We have ideas for next year how to improve things.

Thank you to our judges, Purina, Alario Center, Michael Samardzija, Scott Walker - Jefferson Parish Councilman At-Large, Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, Jefferson Convention & Visitors Bureau and Messina's Catering Aliaro Center. We so appreciate everyone’s efforts to help put these shows together in such short notice! Thank you AKC CLUB Development for your help and guidance.
