This clip is nearly 40 seconds long, and in that entire time this 9-week-old puppy only performs one sit.

Briscoe’s first week with us! This video highlights 5 new places and environments he experienced throughout the week. One of the best things you can do for your puppy is safely introduce them to new sights, sounds, surfaces, and situations early on. A simple and realistic goal is one new environment each day. And remember — “new” doesn’t always mean far from home. Different rooms in your house, the garage, backyard, front porch, or driveway can all provide valuable learning experiences and help build your pup’s confidence.

Some moments are worth the wait. 🤍 And these kids had to wait for just the right time. We are grateful our litters timing matched with their needs.

Watching their excitement today during their special visit with Brisco was something sweet to witness.

While Brisco will continue growing with us through our Raise & Train Program, her people are already counting down the days until she’s officially home for good. Sometimes the best things really are worth waiting for. 🐾

Creating problem solvers from an early age.

Don’t rush in and “rescue” your puppy from a situation they are struggling to figure out. Let them work through it and be there to assist if necessary. This will help your puppy gain confidence and be more of a thinker.

One thing we love about our Raise & Train program is getting to walk through all the same puppy experiences our owners do. 💛

Brisco is learning her new routine now that all her littermates have headed home. We can tell she misses having her brothers and sisters here to rumble and tumble with, but this little lady is settling in beautifully.

Last night we crated her beside our bed for her very first night solo, and she slept from 9 PM until 6:30 AM when we woke her up to start our day. We are seriously impressed with this young girl.

These first few nights can feel overwhelming for new puppy owners, which is exactly why we love experiencing it ourselves too. It helps us better prepare, guide, and encourage the families trusting us with their future best friends.

The second male of the litter has officially made it home to Aurora, Colorado 🤍

This handsome boy will be spending his days alongside his firefighting humans — a life full of loyalty, adventure, and purpose. There’s something special about placing a good dog with good people, and we have no doubt this boy hit the jackpot.

Colorado sure gained a good one. 🐾

One lucky family drafted their newest teammate meet Brisco, formally known as Snow White. 🤍

This beautiful girl’s humans chose our Raise & Train Program, which means Heath will have the honor of guiding her training journey all the way through January 2027.

Brisco is headed into a home that has patiently waited for the right moment, the right dog, and the right fit. And she’s all three.

Brisco, ready for purpose, structure, and a life built on trust. We feel so lucky to keep here a little while longer.

Meet Remi… or as all her fans know her, Clementine 🍊🧡

This special girl is headed to an incredible home with our THIRD CapeWest family connected to the Fort Worth Christian Baseball team, and we truly couldn’t feel more blessed. There’s something really special about watching great young men, strong families, and good dogs all find their way together.

Tomorrow, the Fort Worth Christian boys compete in the Texas State Semi Finals, and while we had hoped Grace Prep would be meeting them there, that just wasn’t His plan this season. So instead, we’ll be cheering them on from afar and wishing every player the very best of luck.

Remi is going home to a family we know will love her deeply, laugh often with her, and give her the very best life. That’s the dream for every CapeWest pup. 🐾
