The first part, the STS-2 SCANNER, is a device that allows you to go over the horse's body, externally, and pinpoint EXACTLY where any problems exist. The Scanner emits a micro current of electricity which neither you no
r the horse can feel. That current is used to measure the resistance in the tissue it contacts. High resistance means normal, healthy tissue. Low reisitance means there is something wrong in the area. The Scanner will measure the health of bone, ligaments,tendons, soft tissue, muscle, and organs. We SCAN the entire horse and LOCATE the problems within the body. A green dot is placed on each area where the Scanner indicates a problem and the technician will later treat the area with the Light Therapy Unit. The SCANNER does NOT DIAGNOSE PHYSICAL PROBLEMS. It simply LOCATES where PROBLEMS EXIST. A horse will be scanned while a Poll Therapy Unit (PTU) is used on his head. The PTU not only treats the problems in the poll, but creates an endorphin release that relaxes the horse. We treat the horse using the Equine Therapy Unit (ETU) which uses red and infared light to stimulate the body to heal itself. The ETU incorporates certain wwavelengths and colors of light as a healing modality. The validity of light therapy has been proven in clinical tests by our government, many universities, and NASA. IN SUMMARY: The STS-2 SCANNER takes the guesswork out of knowing what is going on with the horse and gives information to know where to treat. Then the Light Therapy Unit uses safe, non-invasive treatments. We are not against using drugs When Absolutly Necessary. However, as a culture, we have gotten far too used to a drug as the "quick fix". If you can solve a problem without using drugs, wouldn't you want that option?
