I was born to share my tender, overflowing compassion with your fur family; I am now exactly where I was always meant to be. Prior to my pinup pageant, Miss little Lucy had her very first, 4 night stay at the Puptown Lodge, and did phenomenal. While Greyhounds are unfortunately known for struggling with separation anxiety, I provided Lucy with a single, overnight trial, before her longer stay. (In her *almost* eleven years, she also has never been left with a stranger; only family). She did have difficulty eating, and did whine for her family, but given her history of being a newbie to boarding, these were all normal acts of worry. I am so proud of this precious, string bean!💗💗

Firstly, I would just love to thank all of my clients who remembered about this event, and took the time to wish me the best of luck. You have no idea what that did to my heart. I was floored to know so many of you remembered. I love and adore you all so much. Thank you.🙏🏻🙏🏻

*For those of you who are unfamiliar, I partook in a pinup pageant at one of the biggest, classic car shows of the year— Dead Man’s Curve. I’ve been dressing in pinup attire for the last 10 years; this was my 4th pageant.*

After “walking the line,” we are all to pick a random question from the bowl. My chosen question was, “What’s something that always makes you smile, no matter what kind of day you’re having?” My answer took no time. I knew exactly what made me smile, each and every day.

Saturday was absolute perfection. While I didn’t place, “winning” quickly became meaningless. Being surrounded by 14, astounding women— women who represent a strong sisterhood, who are genuine, kind-hearted, and truly care about one another to the core— that was exactly what this pinup pageant was about. Their beauty on the outside, doesn’t even come close to their souls.

While I know this page is dedicated to all of your beloved pets, my heart couldn’t help but race to give love, and take photos with all the endless, fur babies that showed up to this event. Stay tuned to witness all the joy!

Let’s be real— my grandma was the one who gave my mama and I the courage to hand-feed and pet these sweeties.😂 My mom was terrified, thinking they were going to chew her hand off. We call them Buck and Bucker, (father and son). They remember who gives them love (and food), and always return! Such docile, beautiful creatures. God has done amazing work in this world.🙏🏻🙏🏻✨

My darling clients and friends‼️If you do not have any Labor Day plans at the moment, please consider attending this incredible event! I could use all the cheering and support, possible! For those of you who aren’t quite familiar with my background, I have a strong passion for all things vintage. Pinup has been a huge part of my lifestyle for the last 10 years. Due to my crazy schedule, I haven’t been able to attend for the last couple of years. But this year, I made sure I put time aside to do what I absolutely love, (aside from obsessing over your puppers, of course). If you’re interested in a day of walking through endless amounts of beauty— both classic cars, and 15 stunning women, then this is the place to be. Breathtaking attire, shiny engines, delicious food trucks, photographers, a rowdy crowd, prizes ..super awesome day. Hope to see y’all there!
