This sweet old lady has truly been the light of our week. There’s something special about senior dogs—their gentle personalities, slower walks, and the extra love they deserve during their golden years.

Many boarding facilities won’t accept dogs over 10. We will. ❤️

But accepting senior dogs comes with responsibility. At Luxury Acres, we take the time to understand each dog individually and adjust their stay around their needs.

🩺 Individualized care — based on age, routine, medications, mobility, eating habits, behavior, and special instructions.

💊 Medication & special care — Instructions are carefully documented and followed throughout the stay.

🌲 Age-appropriate activity — Some seniors still want to explore our trails. Others prefer a short stroll and a cozy nap. We let the dog tell us what they need.

🏡 Comfortable accommodations — Private suites, climate-controlled facilities, cameras in every room, and HEPA air filtration help keep their environment comfortable and monitored.

🚨 Emergency procedures — We collect veterinary and emergency information before the stay and have procedures in place to respond quickly if something unexpected happens. If a dog needs veterinary attention, we don't hesitate to act.

📞 Communication — If something changes, we communicate with the owner and work from the care instructions provided.

Because boarding isn't simply putting a dog somewhere while you're away.
