a few things at the park are showing some wear and tear, so please bear with us! the gaps along the bottom of the fence are also becoming more prominent as the ground thaws and shifts :( the purple structure is especially wobbly and may need to be moved (and definitely reinforced) so please take caution.

It was such a fun morning at the dog park yesterday! Some students from Kenai Middle School walked their dogs from the school to the park so they could play. For some of them, it was their first time there! Despite that, they all had a lot of fun playing and running. 🐾

Just a heads up, the city will be performing maintenance on Wednesday (2/28) so the park will be closed!

another note, it seems the sealant that had been used on the paw prints for the donor tree isn't holding up well to our lovely winter temps 🥶 I will be redoing them once things warm up and I can either get them off the wall or just paint them where they are. apologies!

(this also goes for fixing some spelling and grammar errors on a few of the paw prints, as well as adding new ones)

sorry the page has been so quiet! life has been pretty busy over here 🫠 but you may have noticed a couple of small things at the park. we moved one of the dogs on the wall to make room for a cork board, and instead put it on the other side above a lost & found basket that's been added! I do have a bigger cork board I'd like to swap in, along with some letters to put above it. but for now please feel free to pin up any relevant stuff! please keep it related to the park or dogs in some way! (ex: a business card for a grooming business is appropriate but a snowmachine for sale is not)
