Recall is one of the most important commands for your dog’s safety. 🐕

Begin in a quiet space, using lots of praise and treats, and gradually practice in different environments. Short, positive sessions help your dog learn faster and come reliably every time.

Cold winter weather can put pets at risk for frostbite, especially on ears, tails, and paw pads ❄️🐾.

Regularly check these areas after outdoor walks and watch for pale, gray, or red skin, swelling, or licking/chewing. Short outdoor sessions, paw wax, or protective clothing help reduce the risk. If you spot frostbite, gently warm the area and contact your vet immediately.

Fireplaces make winter cozy, but they can be risky for curious pets. Paws, tails, and fur can get too close to flames or hot surfaces, leading to burns or accidents. Always use a sturdy safety screen and supervise pets around the hearth to keep everyone safe and warm. 🔥❤️
