I am out here waiting on the vet. I hope he comes soon. It’s getting hot. I pray my boy is better and he can be turned out. Just afraid he will run & play hard and get hurt again .
It smells so bad of cedar burning. It’s thick. It makes me so nauseous. I really want to move. It’s bad all the time here.

I am a smiling donkey who is feeling much better. I am on pain medication for my knee and I have to stay in the barn for five days. I can’t run and play & I miss Waylon. I do get to stay with Lily or Cala. Thank you for all of the prayers . 🙏❤️

My husband put up a fence at the end of the barn and now they get a nice breeze through the isle.
Lily is turned out for the night and now Calla stays in with Woody tonight and then swap again in morning. Feeding Jane , Lily & Waylon hay up by the barn so they are together.

Spending time with my boy & Lily. Woody is doing much better today . It’s just hot in here so we are trying our best to be creative and get it comfortable for them so he can heal . We can’t have Woody running and playing hard with Waylon. Not sure what happened but we need to keep him from using that knee much.

Lily and Woody are both getting brushed and fly spray on. Poor Woody is really getting bit up in his face. I had the fly mask on him but took it off and put swat fly stuff on it. Too hot for fly mask in the barn. We’re working on getting it better out here for them. Lily is throwing a fit. We will trade her off for Calla tonight.
