People keep asking. Where are the horses going the border is closed. My facility is not the shipping facility. These horses are dropped here for us to picture, video, rehome and handle pick ups. We did this prior at the ship pens and horses got loaded that were not supposed to. Horses got sick and hurt and we didn’t have eyes on them. It’s a lot easier out my facility I front the cost of feeding them from my pocket to do it this way. I would rather do that and know they are being taken care of right.
That means horses are are picked up from my facility and go back to the pens to ship. Well border is closed temporarily which is what everyone wanted. So guess what that means for the horses????
THEY SIT IN OVER CROWDED PENS, FIGHTING FOR HAY, FIGHTING FOR WATER, STUDS IN LOOSE WITH EVERYONE, SKINNY AND INJURED HORSES BEING PUSHED TO THE CORNERS. The border will open back and when it does the pens will empty.
Im sick to know how these horses will have to live the next few weeks to months. The flow of horses isn’t going to stop. They have no where else to go. So just bc the border is closed doesn’t solve the horse problem America has.
