We got bees!! A couple weeks ago the kids and I were at my parents house and there was a small swarm on one of their back bushes.

We went to a bee keeper class end of February and wanted to get into bees so we asked a bee keeper friend if he could help us catch the swarm. With his help we were able to catch them and now we have our first hive going! Farm hand Eloise is the #1 person wanting to get into bees and seeing her dive in and check on them daily is so sweet.

I wasn't thinking to take a picture. But we made this recipe for Easter lunch in the crockpot and it was Divine!

We took the smallest of the lambs and got the legs halved. When I saw them I thought we had misstepped because they were actually quite small.

BUT I put all 4 piece (both legs) into the crockpot at 7am and cooked on high with the seasonings from this recipe and it was fall apart amazing by noon when we ate.

I was going to make the gravy but we just ate it with the au ju how it was (we had baked potatoes too and the cooking juices were amazing on top).

Our lambs we took were on the small side but almost exclusively pasture/grassfed. Only a little grain. And it was the most delicious lamb I've had.

Spring is here! And with that comes all the babies!

We have a new offering of Postpartum Herbal Sitz Bath.

I (Amy) have 5 kids and only used herbal Sitz bath for our last, and it was soooooo amazing and truly helped healing. We are close to welcoming our 6th and I knew I needed this on hand.

$5 a bag. 3 "servings" per bag. All organic ingredients.

Sometimes you DO have all your ducks in a row...and it needs picture proof 🤩🤩🤩

That said, we are getting new rare breed ducklings in April and need to make some room in our duck coop.

Pasture raised. Females laying lots of eggs at the moment (though they will lay less in summer). Fed organic no soy no corn feed.

Adult ducks 3️⃣0️⃣ each. Male and female available, though a male must be purchased as well if getting more than one female.

Ducklings 1️⃣0️⃣ each. Mix of Pekin, Cayuga, and black swedish.
