Hello Friends,

Yesterday, we drove to Estes Park and then drove along Trail Ridge Road to see the fall foliage. We were able to enjoy the beautiful changing leaves and even spotted some elk along the way. ❤️

Today was bath day for the budgies! They had a wonderful time splashing around and making a big, wet mess, and it was so much fun to watch them enjoy themselves.

Hello Friends,

Today, September 13th, I'm reflecting on my handsome American Parakeet, Journey, whose hatch date is October 17, 2024. Almost two years ago, he started his journey into the heart of everyone he meets.

Journey loves talking and learning new words—his newest one is "Hi!" He also loves playing outside of his cage. Every time I wash dishes, he has to take a bath, which leaves me cleaning my eyeglasses every single time, but it brings me so much joy.

Journey is truly one of the biggest joys in my life. Whether he's talking, playing, flying, taking baths, or just being spoiled, I love seeing him enjoy his life.

Journey says hello to all his friends today. We hope this update brings a smile to your face!

We had a big visitor this morning, standing on one of the water bowls I fill up for the small wild animals.
It's beautiful but not something I want hanging around.
Drink the water only (Hawk) then move on!

Yesterday we saw this very large hawk on a fence post along our driveway.
The hawk let me take 8 pictures of him before he was done posing for the pictures. Such a beautiful hawk. I had to look up what type of hawk this was, a Dark-morph Swainson's Hawk.
