Catherine Creek Labradors I am an amateur retriever trainer with a passion for training and raising fine hunting companions.

Occasionally we have litters available out of health-tested, proven parents. Located in the beautiful Grand Ronde Valley in Northeastern Oregon, we pride ourselves in producing dogs sound of body, mind, and temperament. Our aim is to produce highly intelligent, biddable, tractable companions that possess the sweet, friendly disposition the Labrador breed is known for.
It's our goal to raise healthy and happy puppies that grow into well adjusted family companions; many who develop into hunting and/or competition partners. Our goal is to produce puppies for multi-purpose homes including field, performance, therapy/ service, or active pet homes.

Delta getting the “stay” command down with strong distractions. As a pup with high prey drive, I was very proud of her impulse control to chase the bountiful “neighbors” rushing by. 🐾💪🏻🪽

12-year-old Bernie and 2 year-old-Cooley double teamed to get Joel two wild roosters today. Jordy was so excited! Can’t believe Bernie was having surgery for cancer just over a year ago and she’s still rocking it in the field . Cooley is lucky to have such a good mentor 🐾😊

Training activities lately. 🍁🦆 Fun training day with the gang at Lonedove Kennels in Cove yesterday. Then client pup, Delta, collar conditioning to “place” on Friday. She’s getting the 3 most important commands down- “Come”, “Sit”, and “Kennel” or “Place”. 🐾💜 Grateful for cooler fall temps.

Have a routine with your pup when you go to train or hunt and stay consistent. It’s the little things that can make the difference between a good and a great dog. If you start out under control, it sets the tone for the rest of the session.
PS: Sorry for the audio cutting out.
