🎃 The Haunting on Centre at Cowan’s Public | Neighborhood Pub did NOT disappoint! 👻

Cowans never misses with their annual Christmas takeover, but for the first time ever, they’re bringing the spooky season to life with a Halloween pop-up running through November 1. And when I say every inch of this place is decorated, I mean EVERY INCH,right down to the bathrooms. 🕸️🦇

The seasonal cocktail menu is just as creative as the decor, featuring concoctions like Liquid Lobotomy (pumpkin spice meets piña colada), Hex Appeal, Widow’s Whisper, Poison Apple, Clown Pear-anoia and the purple Tangled Web martini. Some even come served in delightfully creepy glassware, including doll-head cups. 💀🍸

I went with the spirit-free Spiritless Tomb made with: carrot, orange, habanero, ginger b**r and vegan foam. SO good! For lunch, I had the chicken pot pie, which was absolutely delicious and even stayed on theme with little bats decorating the top. 🦇🥧 We love a commitment to the aesthetic.

I arrived 10 minutes before opening and there was ALREADY a crowd gathering outside. By the time I left, less than an hour after opening, the bar and surrounding tables were completely full, and the dining room was fully booked.

SO MAKE A RESERVATION. Unless standing around waiting for a seat is part of your Halloween thrill-seeking experience.

I love when businesses go all out for the holidays, and Cowans understood the assignment. The attention to detail is incredible, the atmosphere is so much fun, and it’s absolutely worth a visit before the haunting ends! 🖤
