Apparently there’s a “correct” way to stand at your food bowl.

I disagree.

I’ve been eating sideways like this my entire life and I see absolutely no reason to change now.

The bowl is straight.
The food is straight.
I am… creatively aligned. 😂

It’s called technique, people.

Mom says there’s a tornado warning.

She didn’t have to tell me.

I knew before the weather app did.

For the last hour, I’ve been on full-time Human Protection Detail™… following Mom from room to room, making sure she doesn’t face the scary sky monster alone.

Kitchen? I’m there.
Living room? Right behind you.
Bathroom? Yep… that too. 😅

Some dogs chase squirrels.
Some dogs fetch tennis balls.

I monitor atmospheric conditions and supervise my humans.

Stay safe, friends. I’ll be on weather patrol until the all-clear. ❤️🐾

My Sunday is going great. How’s yours going? 🐾

I’ve got one ear flipped, zero responsibilities, and absolutely no plans to move anytime soon.

Highly recommend this lifestyle.

I got to the corner today… and I thought we were just getting started. 🐾

I did my usual pause, looked up like, “this way, right?”

But we turned around early again.

I know my walks aren’t the big three-mile adventures they used to be… but I still try.
Because I love being out there.
And I love seeing her happy.

Our vet says dogs like me just want to please our people.
But I think I’m doing more than that.

I think she’s a little sad when we turn back…
So I wait at the corner, just in case she wants to keep going.

Because if she does, I’m ready.
Every single time. 🤍❤️

I haz been bamboozled. I just followed you into the bathroom and there was towels everywhere and the water was running and before I knew it. I smelled clean.

Oh hi. Just over here making sure I didn’t miss a single molecule of peanut butter. 👅🥜

Mom hides my meds in a spoonful (rude)… but honestly? Worth it. I will be checking the roof of my mouth 47 more times just to be safe.

Health update from yours truly:
I’ve been gaining weight 💪
My appetite is BACK 🙌
I’m eating my kibble again (with my new turkey meatballs… obviously) 🍗
And I’ve restarted my walks! They’re shorter than my old three-mile adventures, but I still love getting out there and sniffing the neighborhood news. 🐾

Feeling stronger. Feeling grateful. Feeling like there might be more peanut butter somewhere.

Hey girl… I’d choose you every time.
Even if someone else had snacks.
Even if I had the stick.
Even when you’re gone… I still know.
