Rust Never Sleeps and Dan Clasing had a good day at Loch Moy. So, proud of this young horse and his focus at a very busy, wet horse trial winning his first Novice division on his dressage score of 25.3 with 17 horses competing!

Thank you to all the volunteers, show officials and management for the professional show day and Clasing Equestrian for the care and training of this amazing young Thoroughbred!

Young horses Rock The Joint! We are so proud of Rust Never Sleeps, he had his first double clear at Old Tavern BN finishing on his dressage score of 31.7. The largest division he's faced all year with 18 entries and he finished in 5th! Not to mention in weather conditions less than ideal....LOL. The YEH horse competition is coming in October and both Kaitlin (Future Paradigm) and Dan (Rust Never Sleeps) Clasing have entries in the 4-year old division at Fair Hill, MD. So stay tuned in - this will be a first for us as breeders/owners and we are very excited for a safe, positive competition for all trainers that invest so much in these beautiful/trusting young horses! 🦄🦄🦄🦄

We visited Loch Moy on Sunday to watch Stephanie and Capstone school and compete in his first Intro division in eventing. Cappy had the summer off to mature and grow and without a doubt that was the best thing to do for this talented young horse. He has far more confidence and willingness to do whatever is asked of him, still has a spook but he gets over it and moves on. We really liked what we saw out him and Steph did a great job getting him restarted this September. Highlights from Sunday included a 7.5 from the dressage judge for gaits, a clear show jump and a wonderful school on XC! Enjoy the pics (thank you ErinGilmore) and videos. 🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄

Valor and Stephanie scored a victory in the Modified division at Waredaca this weekend! We are very proud to have bred this horse, he is always enthusiastic and happy to work. Steph calls him her "sport car." They finished on their dressage score, 28.4 and ate up the course in tough weather conditions (see 3 videos XC). Please share our joy!

Rust Never Sleeps won his first OBN at Hunt Club on Saturday with a 28.2 and double clear in SJ/XC. Big thank you to Dan and Kaitlin Clasing and their expert team of grooms! Dan says he ready to move up....now that he is willing to enter the water...LOL. Fingers crossed it doesn't creep in at a later date. Thanks to all the the Hunt Club staff and volunteers that came out to make this show a success!

Thrilled to post our new baby! Join us in celebrating the birth of a c**t to Mares' Nest Farm out of homebred Rhonwen (aka) Raven. Many thanks to Celena for returning her to us after her show career ended, not only is she a super addition as a broodmare, she has lots of buttons, and is steady as they come out on the back-forty with all WILDlife!

We've cashed our ticket to the 4 yr old US YEH Championships! Congratulations to thoroughbred Rust Never Sleeps and Clasing Equestrian for a super performance at Full Moon on Tuesday scoring 76.250% for 2nd in a big, tough division of young horses. We are so proud of our homebred horse, all the connections at Clasing and Mares' Nest Farm, show staff, judges, volunteers, and sponsors which made this a reality! Not the least of which is the US Event Horse Futurity program for recognizing and supporting breeding and training programs in the USA!

We were unable to attend but Clasing Equestrian provided the video from the dressage test and SJ/XC challenge. Enjoy!

What a super weekend for Mares' Nest Farm! Thank you so much to all our care-givers that support our horses and the farm!

Steph and Valor did their first Modified at Hunt Club HT, turning in a 26.8 in dressage combined with a double clear in SJ/XC to finish 🥇. Well done, we couldn't be more excited for you two.

And, not to be ignored.....Rust and Clasing Equestian competed in the Beginner Novice Open division at the Loudoun Pony Club HT at Oatlands on Sunday. Dan and Rust laid down a beautiful dressage test receiving a score of 29.4 and double clear in SJ/XC tests without penalty. The 29.4 score was good 🥈. Rust lives at Clasing Equestrian and it is always a treat not only see how well he is doing but how much improvement there is from one show to the next.
