Isla spent much of her life without the normal experiences dogs need. Walking on a leash is still unfamiliar and frightening, but she learns routines quickly.

Her ideal foster has a secure backyard, another friendly dog, and time to introduce leash walking slowly and positively.

My sweet Jake went on his 2 week trial today.

The very last day with my boy. Packing up his stuff today. This is always one of the hardest days for me. Seeing their stuff sitting by the door and knowing that the time has come to let them go is so bittersweet. This is #22 and it is never any easier. Hoping you did enough to set them up for success and wishing that their new family gives them all they need is tough. Dropoff day is brutal.

Only 2 more nights with my dood! He is going on a trial on Saturday with his new dad. He has been my longest foster and i adore him. I am very excited for him but as always it is so bittersweet. I will be packing his stuff up tomorrow and that is always one of the hardest parts for me.

Soaking up the last few days with my sweet Bubba !

Jake came to reacue completely broken and shutdown. We have loved him up! I am going to miss him terribly. Sorry for the cry baby posts for the next couple of weeks. I just love him so much
