👁️ How do I know if my pet needs an eye exam?

Pets can’t tell us when their vision is changing, but their eyes often give us clues. If you notice any of these signs, it may be time to schedule an exam:

• Red or irritated eyes
• Squinting or excessive blinking
• Discharge or tearing
• Cloudiness or color changes in the eye
• Pawing or rubbing at the face
• Bumping into objects or vision changes

Eye conditions can progress quickly, so early evaluation is the best way to protect your pet’s vision and comfort. 🐾

If you’re noticing any of these symptoms, our team is here to help.

📞 Contact us to schedule an ophthalmic exam.

Your pet’s eyes can reveal a lot about their health. 👁️🐾

Signs like redness, squinting, excessive tearing, discharge, or cloudiness may indicate an underlying eye condition. Pets can develop issues such as corneal ulcers, glaucoma, cataracts, or dry eye—many of which require prompt evaluation to protect vision and comfort.

If you notice changes in your pet’s eyes or vision, a veterinary ophthalmology exam can help identify the cause and guide the best treatment plan. Early care can make a big difference in maintaining your pet’s eye health.
