What should you do if a random dog attacks your dog?

In this clip, here’s what went wrong:
✔️ The owner grabbed collars — unsafe and escalated the risk.
✔️ Panic and shouting fueled the fight.
✔️ No plan for what to do after the attack.

As a trainer, I’ve seen this too many times. The truth is: you need to know what NOT to do as much as what to do.

💡 Safe response starts with staying calm, avoiding direct grabs, and having a plan for after the dogs are separated.

Would you be ready if this happened to your dog?

Tired of bribing your dog with treats to get them to listen? 🐕💥
In this video, I show you how to train your dog without using treats as a lure. Focus on behavior, not food! Guide them with your hand, give the command, and reward once they follow through.

This method builds real obedience and focus: No treats needed!

Why you shouldn’t stare into a dog’s eyes 👀🐕

Humans = affection.
Dogs = challenge.

✔️ Hard stare = threat.
✔️ Soft eyes = calm trust.
✔️ For nervous or reactive dogs, direct eye contact can escalate quickly.

Understanding this one detail about dog psychology changes how you connect with them — and keeps interactions safe and respectful.

Dog attack at the park — here’s the breakdown 👇

✔️ The dog was already stressed — tense body, fixed stare.
✔️ The crowded park environment made everything worse.
✔️ Shouting and chaos fueled the escalation.
✔️ Within seconds, it turned into a full fight.

It looks sudden, but the signs were all there if you know what to watch for.

Dealing with puppy biting? Here’s how I stop it quickly and effectively:
A firm “STOP,” a light tap, and back to what I was doing. No drama, just clear communication.

This teaches your puppy that biting gets them nowhere and helps them learn bite inhibition.

Does your dog ignore the “come” command? 🐾
If you always call your dog just to leash them up or leave, they’ll start to associate “come” with the end of fun! That’s why they hesitate or run away.

Watch how I flip the pattern so your dog actually wants to come to you around any distraction. 🚀

Little Dutton’s afternoon training session: no leash, just food motivation! 🐕💥
Watch how I use treats and calm guidance to teach him heel, sit, and stay focused. Curiosity and excitement are making all the difference as he learns to stay engaged and follow commands.
