Running for Purpose - 2027 Chevron Marathon
I'm proud to be running the Chevron Marathon in support of CAP Houston Animal Charity.

Endurance is my way of life - ultra-marathon running, cycling, long-distance motorcycle riding, and pushing limits through extreme challenges, including my North Pole expedition in 2014. Next on the horizon is the Marathon des Sables in April 2028.

But this race is bigger than miles. I'm running for animals who need care, protection, and a second chance.

Every step is for the rescued, the abandoned, and the ones still waiting for a home. Discipline. Endurance. Purpose.

Today was one of the hardest days for us. Our beloved Heidi passed away, and we cremated her today. The pain is beyond words. She was not just our pup, she was family, a precious soul who filled our home with love, warmth, and happiness. Her little paws left the biggest mark on our hearts, and her memory will stay with us forever.

The house will never feel quite the same without her, and a piece of our hearts went with her today. But we are grateful for every moment, every cuddle, every look, and every unconditional bit of love she gave us. Heidi, you were deeply loved, and you always will be. Run free, sweet girl. You may be gone from our sight, but you will never be gone from our hearts.
